Welocme to the LCC Chapter of ACE- network for women leaders in Higher Education, Spring Semester, 2009. In response to the interest expressed at our kick-off meeting, we have planned three activities: 
 
First, we have arranged a series of brown bag luncheons based on topics you identified. These luncheons are meant to: 
<ul><li>encourage participants to have conversations about topics of interest</li><li>create a culture of support</li><li>be informal</li></ul> 
Second, we have arranged a series of high calibre local speakers on topics you identified. These speakers will provide expertise in a more formal setting. 
 
Third, we would like to encourage your attendance at the annual ACE conference in June. More to come on that later! 
 
We hope that you can participate in any or all, and that you will sign up to help make these events a success. You can volunteer to help by going to the discussion tab and posting the activity you would like to sign up for.
